So that the students can easily identify themselves, build a sense of team and come to lessons prepared to participate in a class room setting, we have a cohesive uniform policy in place. All uniforms may be purchased at the studio front desk.

Getting Ready for Class

Hair needs to be out of the dancer’s face and neat and tidy for class. It can become a real distraction to the dancer if they are continuously trying to tie and retie their hair back into place. Water Bottles need to brought into the classroom for every class. Please make sure these are named.

Footwear

Each child needs to have class specific footwear. Due to the need to minimize slip hazards your child should not come to class wearing only socks or stockings.

Ballet 1 - Shared Steps This class will be wearing a lilac leotard, skirt, black crossover, legwarmers, stockings or socks and ballet shoes. Boys are in white leotard or t-shirt and black dance pants or tights with black ballet shoes.   

Ballet 2 & 3 - Sweet Steps

This class will be wearing musk pink dress, black crossover, black legwarmers, stockings or socks and ballet shoes. Boys are in white leotard or t-shirt and black dance pants or tights with black ballet shoes.

Ballet 4 & 5 Test One & Test Two

This class will be wearing baby blue leotard and skirt, with a black crossover and legwarmers, and skin colour stockings or socks and ballet shoes. Boys are in white leotard or t-shirt and black dance pants or tights with black ballet shoes.

Ballet 6 & 7  Test Three and Bronze Medal

This class will be wearing a turquoise leotard and skirt, with a black crossover and legwarmers, and skin colour stockings or socks and ballet shoes. Boys are in white leotard or t-shirt and black dance pants or tights with black ballet shoes.

Ballet 8 & Ballet 9 - Bronze Star, Silver Medal

This class will be wearing an Plum leotard and skirt, with a black crossover and legwarmers, and skin colour stockings not socks and ballet shoes. Boys are in white leotard or t-shirt and black dance pants or tights with black ballet shoes.

Ballet buns are now compulsory as we will start working on turning in the centre practice.  

Ballet 10 & Ballet 11 Silver Star, Gold Medal

This class will be wearing a red leotard and skirt, with a black crossover and legwarmers, and skin colour stockings and ballet shoes. Boys are in white leotard or t-shirt and black dance pants or tights with black ballet shoes. 

Buns are compulsory for this level as we are working on turns in the centre practice.

Ballet 12 Gold Star

This class will be wearing a black leotard, skirt, with a black crossover and legwarmers, and skin colour stockings or socks and ballet shoes. Boys are in white leotard or t-shirt and black dance pants or tights with black ballet shoes.

Ballet 13 & Ballet 14 Elementary and Intermediate

This class will be wearing a navy leotard, skirt, with a black crossover and legwarmers, and skin colour stockings or socks and ballet shoes. Boys are in white leotard or t-shirt and black dance pants or tights with black ballet shoes.

Buns are compulsory for this level as we are working on turns in the centre practice.

Ballet 15 Advanced

This class will be wearing a turquoise lace leotard, skirt, with a black crossover and legwarmers, and skin colour stockings or socks and ballet shoes. Boys are in white leotard or t-shirt and black dance pants or tights with black ballet shoes.

Buns are compulsory for this level as we are working on turns in the centre practice

Jazz Moves, Contemporary, Cheer & Pom, Hip Hop, Acro

These classes will be wearing a two tone black and pink leotard with two-tone three quarter dance pants.  Boys uniform is available from the studio.

• Girls Tap and Jazz shoes should be tan. Boys shoes should be black. 
• Shimmer tights instead of ballet tights will be required for performances and are optional during class.
• No tights or shoes for Contemporary or Acro during regular classes.  This may change for performances. 
• Hip hop will require sneakers with black soles. 

Adult Steps and Over 55's Dance Steps

These classes wear any appropriate dance wear or active wear. Please ensure that you have proper dance shoes. Performance Teams These classes will be wearing any appropriate dance wear. Optional studio singlet top. Please ensure that you have proper dance shoes.
