Dance School News

 

Well the term is over half way over and it has been an incredible term so far.  We have welcomed some lovely new students, reconnected with our friends from last year and done lots of DANCING!

 


High Tea coming up soon

 

On the 15 May we are going to have a studio celebration at the Highfields Cultural Centre.   We are very excited to unveil some new dance items, host a graduation ceremony for Vocational Students and enjoy a delicious afternoon tea together.  Please mark this date in your diary as the must see event of term 2.  

 

Everyone is invited to celebrate with us at this special event.

New dance uniform shop online open now


After easter

 

Term 2 accounts will be issued at the end of term 1.  You don't need to re-book for term 2.  You only need to contact the office if you need to switch days or add additional classes to your profile.  

 

 


Public holiday

 

The Toowoomba Show Holiday is coming up on Friday 25 March.  There will be no classes held at the studio on that day.  Please contact the office@radianceacademytoowoomba.com to organise a make-up lesson if required.

We have some incredible new classes that have opened up.  We have space in the following:

  • Adult Barre and Adult Ballet
  • Junior Tap for prep and grade 1 students
  • Music and Movement for those pre-school aged students

kingaroy eisteddfod

 

In a month we have our teams and senior contemporary performing at Kingaroy.  We are very excited about this opportunity for our kids.  Please click on the link below to find out more.

We have created a new timetable for this year.  Please refer to the dates below.  Of particular note is the fact that we are planning a full 40 weeks of dance plus 2 bonus weeks of fun.  

 

*ATOD now an online event - don't book any accommodation.  Possibly replacing this date with Lockyer Eisteddfod. 




High school students - extra opportunities

 

Students from year 8 can now get involved with our Vocational Training Program which runs on Saturdays for the entire school year.  Students are able to study in-depth classical ballet, character, jazz, street, lyrical, contemporary and musical theatre whilst gaining a nationally recognised qualification.  This amazing opportunity is available for high-school students and school leavers.  If you are interested in finding out more, please follow the link below to download the Prospectus.
