Dance School News

Word from the Principal

We have had an amazing semester.  With not a single interruption to our schedule.  The dancers are looking so good, the teachers are getting excited for concert and we are full steam ahead for exams in September.

Winter Workshops

Next week we have an opportunity for your dancer to get back to the studio for a day of fun, friendship and incredible learning.

We are offering students over 10 years of age 5 different clinics to improve on the things we don't get enough time on in class.

We can't wait to see you back in the studio with all of your friends.

We can't wait for Term 3.  We have so much happening and we are excited to share it all with you.

Term 3 we start getting our costumes ready for the concert, we start learning our concert dances and we have our ATOD exams.

Don't miss out on a thing, make sure you download the app so that you can receive the push notifications.

Winter Woolies

Don't forget to stock up on all of your winter woolies.  At the dance wear shop we have cross overs, leg warmers, tights, hoodies and more!

Concert Announcement

All students ages 3+ are invited to participate in our production of Beauty and the Beast coming to the Empire Theatre in November.  We are currently assigning roles, sourcing costumes and writing the show ready for your student to start learning in Term 3.  We are very excited to work towards concert and can't wait to show you what your student can achieve.

Concert Roles

We are excitedly working on the concert plans.  We have assigned the main roles.  Most students who attended are not offered a role, however it is an amazing opportunity to attend an audition and is great practice for the future.

Please note, if your student doesn't get a role (which most do not), we still love them and you!  But we only have a few roles to give out.  Please explain to your student the best way to handle their feelings (if they are disappointed).  We believe in all of our students and don't want any to feel sad, however the show must go on!
