Final Call for Performance Teams 2021

Our performance teams are in integral part of our Radiance Academy Family.  These students are our go to students who are the face of Radiance.  We perform at many and varied locations across our region.  These engagements include community events, fetes, the ATOD competitions and eisteddfods!  The eisteddfod circuit is back up and running and adapting to the new world.

In  2021 these opportunities will increase again. And we are looking for the next amazing group of students to represent our studio next year.  We are open to your expression of interest for 2021.  We will take into account family support, ability, commitment, technical and performance capabilities.

Where are they now?

Former Radiance Academy student Gabe Tiller is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Musical Theatre Degree at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University. As one of the most prestigious musical theatre courses in Australia, hundreds of hopefuls from across Australian and overseas audition to study there each year, with only 12 females and 12 males accepted into each cohort. Gabe trains in jazz, ballet, tap, singing and acting as part of his degree, and was recently awarded a Griffith University Academic Award for having a GPA above 6, placing him in the top 5% of students across the University. When he graduates, Gabe plans to audition for professional touring shows in Australia, and eventually perform on West End. He fondly remembers his time at Radiance Academy (especially his tap classes, as tap is his favourite type of dance).

We are so excited to see Gabe excelling in his course and can't wait to see his name in lights... It could happen over night in this modern times!

We are keen to hear from more of our alumni... what are you up to?  Your former class mates would love to hear from you!

Award Winning Year

The staff were excited to attend the first ever Focus HR Business Excellence Awards in mid December.  It was an emotional night for many businesses and the stories of resilience and accomplishments were heartfelt.  Radiance Academy was so excited to be named division winner on the night in the Health and Wellbeing Category.
