Attention ALL ballet students from 3 years upwards!

Calling ALL classical dancers from 3 years and upwards.  This is an opportunity not to be missed!

I'm a bit excited!!!!  We have talented ballerina, internationally acclaimed teacher Elena Chebotar coming to teach in Toowoomba for our July Super Workshop!  Our students are in for an experience of a lifetime with this infinitely qualified and breathtakingly accomplished ballerina.

Elena has danced and or taught with the Vaganova Ballet Academy, Mariinsky Theatre, Russian Ballet Theatre, American Ballet Conservatory, St Petersburg Theatre.  She is currently the Ballet Development Manager in Jakarta Indonesia.  She has a list of 10 publications and is currently defending her thesis "Methodology and curriculum of classical dance lessons in the senior classes in the ballet universities".

We are soooooo excited that Elena is coming to Toowoomba to share her wealth of wisdom with the Radiance Academy students.    Bookings are limited.... and we will open up spaces to outside studios. Please take advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity!  Bookings open now!

Australian Teachers of Dance - Examinations

Our Examinations will be held at the studio on the 2-4 of August 2017.  Please talk to your teacher about any questions that you may have.  Most students should have received their Exam Info.  Please visit the Exam page to purchase your exam pack.  Your exam prep classes will be finalised once bookings are received.

You are invited

You are invited to watch class from Monday the 19th to Saturday the 24th of June.  Please feel free to invite Auntie Joan or Nanna Smith along.  It is a great way to get involved with what is happening in class:-)

Our students in the spotlight

We have a great representation of students auditioning for the Qld Ballet this weekend at the Empire Theatre.  Good luck to all of you.  The Qld Ballet have requested photos to be shared.  If you would like to send them to me... I am happy to share them for you!

Concert Preparation

Our teaching staff is already in full swing preparing for the concert!  We are planning roles, designing costumes and much more.   All students from Simple Steps to Gold Medal will be involved with the concert on Saturday the 18 November.  You will receive an invoice for costume hire in term 3.    Your children will really enjoy this amazing experience!

Welcome our newest team member

We would like to warmly welcome our new teacher Miss Peggy to the studio.  Peggy Fein is a new resident of the Toowoomba Region. She is a professional modern (contemporary) dancer with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Dance, a Master’s of Fine Arts in Dance, as well as ten years of professional experience teaching and performing in The United States. She is also personal trainer with Certificates III and IV in Fitness. As

she finds her way back into the work force after home educating her six

children, she hopes to bring her combined experience and training to the

community by offering creative movement, modern dance, ballet, and fitness

classes to various age groups. Peggy brings with her a fresh perspective on health and fitness with an artistic, non-competitive approach.

Thank you all for your patience and consideration of others in the carpark.  We have a few options for parking at the studio on busy days.

We have the grass car park.  We ask that you please supervise your children in this area.  We don't want any children injured, so please check before reversing out.  However, this is to be a strictly no play area for students.

There is street parking on Angle Street near the Church.  There is also parking on High Street in designated parking areas.

We are not able to access the kindy parking spaces during the week.  If all other parks are taken on Saturdays we are permitted to use this space.

Please contact the office if you have any concerns.

Can we please ask a huge favour?  As we share our bathroom facility with St Mark's congregation, can you please help me to keep them in good working order.

There is a nappy change table in the third cubicle.  Please help yourself to this facility.  We just ask that you dispose of nappies in the wheelie bin where possible. We will endeavour to keep this cubicle stocked with nappy bags for your convenience.
