Hot off the press - Super Workshop with International Guest Artist 3-5 July - Save the Date
I'm a bit excited!!!! We have talented ballerina, internationally acclaimed teacher Elena Chebotar coming to teach in Toowoomba for our July Super Workshop! Our students are in for an experience of a lifetime with this infinitely qualified and breathtakingly accomplished ballerina.
Elena has danced and or taught with the Vagaonva Ballet Academy, Mariinsky Theatre, Russian Ballet Theatre, American Ballet Conservatory, St Petersburg Theatre. She is currently the Ballet Development Manager in Jakarta Indonesia. She has a list of 10 publications and is currently defending her thesis "Methodology and curriculum of classical dance lessons in the senior classes in the ballet universities".
We are soooooo excited that Elena is coming to Toowoomba to share her wealth of wisdom with the Radiance Academy students. Bookings are limited.... and we will open up spaces to outside studios. Please take advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity! Bookings open now!
But above is a sneak peak of one of her classes with Vaganova students...
Both Monday and Tuesday performance teams did a fantastic job dancing over the Easter School Holidays. Thank you so much. You did our studio proud!
Our next performance is for the Monday performance team at St Mark's on Sunday the 11th June.
Australian Teachers of Dance - Examinations
We have submitted our date requests for July/August examinations. These exams will take place at our studio. The students involved will require full uniform, a day off school the ability to cope in exam conditions, and participation in the exam prep classes June 27-29 with an ATOD examiner. Your child will receive a notification in class if they are eligible to enter an examination. This notification will tell you how to register for the exam, costs involved, times of the exam prep class and more.
If your child is not selected to enter an exam this year, this is no slight on them as a person, their participation in class or their overall likelihood to participate in the future. It just means at this point in time, this is not in their best interest. We are not saying that they aren't talented, gifted, clever and wonderful people!
Our students in the spotlight
Our talented students Georgie and Noah Watson recently performed at the Empire Theatre in the Darling Downs and West Moreton Youth Ballet. Congratulations on a wonderful performance we are so proud of you!
Excluding trials - parents, grandparents, guardians and friends are invited to wait in the waiting area, on the benches, in the garden, at a coffee shop or nearby park during dance classes. Unless there has been an agreement with the Studio Principal, the studio is for dancers and teachers only. Please allow the classroom to be purely a learning space for the benefit of all participants.

Thank you all for your patience and consideration of others in the carpark. We have a few options for parking at the studio on busy days.
We have the grass car park. We ask that you please supervise your children in this area. We don't want any children injured, so please check before reversing out. However, this is to be a strictly no play area for students.
There is street parking on Angle Street near the Church. There is also parking on High Street in designated parking areas.
We are not able to access the kindy parking spaces during the week. If all other parks are taken on Saturdays we are permitted to use this space.
Please contact the office if you have any concerns.
Can we please ask a huge favour? As we share our bathroom facility with St Mark's congregation, can you please help me to keep them in good working order.
There is a nappy change table in the third cubicle. Please help yourself to this facility. We just ask that you dispose of nappies in the wheelie bin where possible. We will endeavour to keep this cubicle stocked with nappy bags for your convenience.
DVDs and Photographs
DVD's are ready to be collected from the studio. The photographs are up on the walls and ready to order from the studio. Please talk to your teacher to organise an order or collection.
