Radiance Ramblings

Expanding and Growing

“Practice makes comfort.

Expand your experiences regularly so every stretch won’t feel like your first.”
Gina Greenlee, Postcards and Pearls: Life Lessons from Solo Moments on the Road

It is with much excitement that I let you in on the plans for our studio for semester two.  We are growing and our studio is expanding.  With this come all of the benefits of a rising tide.  Within the last nine months we have added to our already amazing staff.  I am so proud of our team and excited about what we can offer to your dancer.

Starting this week, we have yet another incredible teacher joining our team.  Kayli Brown is relocating from Brisbane and is coming on staff as a classical ballet and lyrical dance specialist.  Kayli is fairly fresh from the studio of the Qld Ballet and brings with her great experience in the studio and on the stage.   Please make Kayli welcome when you meet her.

Due to these changes we have released an updated timetable to begin in Semester Two.  We trust that you will find these very positive changes.

Watch the video below to find out more about the changes to come...

Here is Kayli's story

Kayli began dancing at the age of 3 with the Bollards School of Dance in Sydney learning ballet, tap and jazz. She completed the ATOD syllabus exams in ballet, tap and jazz to Advanced level.  In 2007 she moved to McDonald college to study ballet and RAD Syllabus. Kayli performed with the Premier State Ballet for 4 years and began full-time ballet training at the Australian International Ballet Academy in 2010. During her

time at the McDonald College she completed her HSC dance certificate in year

11. In 2011 She was accepted into the Queensland Ballet Company Professional

Year. Throughout the two year program she performed in numerous company

performances including The Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake.  After completing 2 years of full time training she decided to travel in search of a job dancing professionally and came to the decision that Australia was home and she would stay close to family. She has an advanced diploma of Nutritional Medicine and is reformer and mat work Pilates certified.
